After paying a small fortune for a Purdue hair bow for my 18 mth old daughter, Lydia, I decided to investigate making my own bows. My friend Kendra started me on my way and we decided to host a "bow making party" attended by 20 moms. I found that it is fun playing with ribbon and even signed up for my first craft show! Each bow is handmade. I make corkscrew, funky layered, basic, bug, and flower bows.
Orders are welcome if you have specific color and style needs. Hair bows make great stocking stuffers, newborn gifts, and are a cute addition to the top of a wrapped present!
I was so excited for my first craft show on Nov. 14, 2009! (whoever thought those words would come out of my mouth. lol) It was a huge success and several of my friends came out to support my endeavor.
FYI- The name "chick pea" is just something random I occasionally call my daughter.
